Publisher Program Policies
These policies are designed to ensure a healthy digital advertising ecosystem for publishers, advertisers, and users. By participating in the TOKANO Native Ad Network, you agree to comply with these policies. Violations may result in ad serving restrictions, account suspension, or termination.
All publishers must read and understand these policies before applying.
Content Policies
Your website content must comply with the following standards. We review all sites before approval and conduct periodic re-reviews.
Illegal Content
We do not allow content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others. This includes copyright infringement, counterfeit products, and facilitating unlawful behavior.
Dangerous or Derogatory Content
Content that incites hatred, promotes discrimination, harasses individuals or groups, threatens harm, or exploits others through extortion is strictly prohibited.
Misleading Content
Content that misrepresents information about the publisher, falsely implies affiliation with another entity, makes demonstrably false claims, or uses deceptive practices to trick users.
Sexually Explicit Content
Adult content, sexually explicit material, non-consensual sexual themes, and promotion of compensated sexual acts are not allowed.
Shocking Content
Graphic or violent imagery, obscene language, depictions of torture, or promotion of dangerous behaviors are prohibited.
Weapons, Drugs & Gambling
Promotion or sale of firearms, explosives, alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs, drug paraphernalia, or participation in online gambling is not permitted.
Unreliable Health Claims
Content that promotes harmful health claims, contradicts authoritative scientific consensus on major health crises, or promotes unapproved pharmaceuticals.
Traffic & Click Policies
Maintaining traffic integrity is essential for a fair advertising ecosystem.
Invalid Click Activity
Publishers must not click their own ads, use automated tools to generate clicks, or encourage others to click ads. This includes asking friends, family, or users to click ads. Google uses advanced systems to detect invalid clicks.
Fake Traffic Sources
Buying traffic from untrusted sources, using click exchange programs, or generating traffic through pop-ups and forced redirects is prohibited. Traffic must be organic and genuine.
Ad Placement Rules
Ads must not be placed too close to buttons or interactive elements to prevent accidental clicks. Do not hide ads, use misleading labels, or obscure content with ads. Ads must be clearly distinguishable as advertisements.
Ad Implementation Policies
Proper ad implementation ensures a good user experience and maintains advertiser trust.
Code Integrity
Do not modify, manipulate, or alter the ad code in any way. Concealing ad units, using hidden keywords, or manipulating ad targeting through iframes or other methods is prohibited.
Responsive Placement
On responsive websites, ensure ads do not overlap with content. Ad units must adapt properly to different screen sizes without causing layout issues.
Mobile Experience
Do not trigger ad clicks during user drag actions on mobile devices. Ensure ads do not interfere with normal mobile navigation or gestures.
Account & Publisher Conduct
Publishers must maintain honest and transparent practices.
Original Content
Your website must contain original, valuable content. Copied, scraped, or thin content that provides little value to users will result in rejection or suspension. AI-generated content is allowed only with human oversight and editorial review.
Required Pages
Your site must have: About Us, Privacy Policy, Contact Us, and Terms of Service pages. These pages must contain real, accurate information and be easily accessible.
Multiple Accounts
Each publisher may only have one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent policies or restrictions is prohibited.
Site Ownership
You must own or have explicit permission to monetize the websites you add to your account. Adding sites you do not control is a violation.
Policy Enforcement
We take policy violations seriously to protect all parties in our network.
- Site Review Process: All new sites undergo manual review before approval. We also conduct periodic re-reviews of active sites. Publishers may be asked to make changes to comply with policies.
- Violation Consequences: Depending on severity, violations may result in: ad serving restrictions on specific pages, reduced ad delivery, account suspension, or permanent account termination. Earnings from invalid activity may be withheld.
- Appeals Process: If your account is suspended, you may submit an appeal explaining the situation and steps taken to resolve the issue. Appeals are reviewed within 30 days. Not all suspensions are reversible.
- Reporting Violations: If you discover policy violations by other publishers, please report them to support@tokanosystem.info. We investigate all reports confidentially.
